ãn invites patrons to experience exactly what it means, “to dine,” enjoying authentic Asian cuisine in a modern setting. In 2006, ãn opened its doors with one goal in mind, offering fine Asian cuisine to the Triangle community with exemplary service rivaled by none. Despite the influx of international cuisine within the area, it became apparent there was a need for Asian delicacies that paralleled Far East dining experiences. Ms. Ann Goodnight realized this vision and teamed up with quality-inspired chefs of various nationalities and specialties to create ãn, and the flavorful foods offered there. Ten years later, our focus remains the same.
All that is offered at ãn from the wine list and cocktails, to the entrees and pastries are executed with an artistic flair. Innovative in terms of cuisine, staying relevant for a decade remains a difficult task, but ãn continues to evolve providing food creations to its patron’s delight.
ãn’s ability to formulate innovative dishes with a take on traditional Asian cuisine begins with its expert chefs. Culinary Director Steven Devereaux Greene and Chef de Cuisine Joshua Hughes provides the culinary leadership, creating exceptional Asian-inspired dishes with the freshest ingredients. Chef Greene’s knowledge of Asian foods stem from his personal visits to Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand and China, among other Far East cultures. His quests to create Asian styled foods which lists many traditional dishes with a whimsical southern style. Sushi Chef Woo Kim’s rare technique with attention to flavor, texture and authenticity, only rivals his pursuit to provide the finest quality sushi to each guest. Pastry Chef Francisco Almaguer designs his dessert menu by seasonal pairings with intricate detail and flavor. A rare dessert experiment for an Asian Restaurant.
What solidifies ãn as a true dining experience is its attention to detail, and its commitment to efficient service and hospitality amongst its guests.
